Training from Information Services

Webinars, workshops, classes, and tutorials from Information Services

Did you know? Not only do we have several self-serve training documents, we also have technical manuals and instructor-led classes!

Helpdocs are our primary source for self-help training. Through these, you can learn how to configure an email client, how to use WebEx, how to install anti-virus software and more.

Those aren't the only self-help training, though. We also have new student technology guide and a new faculty and staff technology guide. These are especially helpful if you're new to OSU, but even folks who have been here for a while can find them useful.

Our technical manuals look at Drupal, the OSU events calendar, web analytics, and Google Search Appliance.

Most of our classes are for Drupal, but you can also find materials from previous classes on using and administering the OSU events calendar  and on some basic web fundamentals. You'll need to scroll past the Drupal class listings to get to those materials.

From time to time we also have webinars or workshops on other topics. Past topics have included, among others, Opportunities for Researchers through XSEDE Research Computing, Creating a Successful Hybrid Course, and Using Turnitin. We will post announcements for these on the main Information Services page and on our Facebook page.
