Colleagues,

In order to mitigate some performance problems with the “OSU_Access” wireless network, the Network Operations Center will be performing brief maintenance this afternoon, Wednesday September 24th, at 5pm. This may cause a small outage for some customers using the “OSU_Access” wireless network. You may notice a brief slow down or halting of the wireless connection. This should last no longer then 5-10 minutes.

(Please note this outage does NOT impact “OSU_Secure”)

The NFS server hosting Nolij files will be physically moved to a different rack on September 10 between 6:00PM and 11:59PM. The Nolij application will be halted, the server moved and the application re-started and confirmed operational. The timeframe has been confirmed with Nolij application users. This is triggered by a need to move different equipment into the rack this server currently occupies. This is considered a low-risk activity, but can be reversed, if necessary.
