Planned Banner Systems Outage

We will be performing emergency maintenance on administrative databases this evening between 5:00PM and 9:30PM to replace equipment used as temporary bypass for a switch that malfunctioned earlier this month.

No scheduled Appworx jobs will run after 4:00PM-jobs will start running when the maintenance is completed.

The following services will be unavailable or will have limited functionality:

Appworx Banner INB (all instances) Banner Self Service (Online Services) Banner Workflow BRM Cleanaddr CORE Reports Data Warehouse Degree Works (MyDegrees) EvalS FormFusion Jaspersoft myOSU Multiple Assignments Nolij OSCAR R25/Web Viewer Scholarship Management System

Canvas, email and Google Apps will remain available.

Network Outage

Colleagues,

As you know we just experienced an approximately 1 hour outage on the network, starting at 1:45pm. We have identified a high volume data stream and blocked it. This has resulted in the network returning to service. We will be looking at this in detail and see what we can do to prevent in the future.

Network outage from 1:40pm restored

OSU started experiencing an outage at 1:40pm. We identified the issue and service was restored at 3pm. Please contact your helpdesk if you continue to experience issues.

Administrative applications outage

OSU is experiencing technical issues with some of our administrative systems, including MyOSU, Nolij, AppWorks, Banner, DegreeWorks, TouchNet, PCard access and Data Warehouse. Details and status updates are at http://is.oregonstate.edu/status.
