MyOSU Login Difficulties

We are aware of users experiencing occasional difficulty logging into the myOSU portal. Technical staff is investigating and working to resolve the issue.

ONID Outage Monday December 15th 11:20am – noon

An internal MySQL database server hung, causing the following ONID services to be unavailable from 11:20am to noon:

– ONID Webmail (https://webmail.oregonstate.edu) – MyONID website (ONID Password changes, ONID Sign-Up) – ONID SSO (the old SSO system, not CAS) – Cacti graphs (http://cacti.onid.oregonstate.edu)

The root cause is still under investigation.

ClassroomSAN and DigitalAssets

On Wednesday December 17th, from 8am to 10am, the ClassroomSAN and DigitalAssets.oregonstate.edu will be unavailable while updates are installed and SAN maintenance is performed.

Outage for federation services

A set of secondary authentication certificates expired overnight on Federation.oregonstate.edu affecting Office 365 web logins and Kumo. The certificate has been replaced and service has been restored. The outage was from 1:01AM-8:46AM, Today 12/12/2014. This does not affect OneDrive for Business application, installed office, OneNote or other applications installed to devices; but purely the interactive login page for office 365, and kumo.
