Canvas

There is no charge for this service.

Canvas is a learning management system (LMS), which is a Web-based platform for course material, assignments, grades, communication, and all activities related to teaching and learning. Canvas is used for all modalities of courses taught at Oregon State University: traditional face-to-face, hybrid, Ecampus online, and continuing education courses.

OSU instructors and staff are encouraged to contact us if you have questions about Canvas or would like help getting started on a site. We welcome questions from students, too.
We offer many Canvas resources on the Learn@OregonState site, including everything from how to add a TA, to creating quizzes, to embedding videos.

In addition, all OSU Canvas users may access Canvas technical support 24 x 7, 365 days a year. Click the Help button on the lower left Canvas menu for support via online guides, live chat, phone and Web form. The Canvas technical team can answer your questions about Canvas features and how they work.
