The myOSU portal was created to help students, faculty and staff more easily locate and use web content they need on a regular basis.

The portal offers a ‘one-stop shopping’ kind of experience for users, and can be tailored to each audience’s needs. For instance, a student on the OSU campus in Corvallis will have a different set of options than one who attends OSU-Cascades in Bend. And a faculty member will have different content than a student.

Anyone with an active ONID account can sign onto myOSU at or via links on the homepage or through online services, student and faculty landing pages on the OSU web site.

Your ONID account identifies what type of content you need, and the single-sign on feature allows faculty and staff to sign onto the portal and launch applications such as Banner and Online Services without having to log in repeatedly. From there, staff and faculty have access to everything from leave balances to holiday schedules to travel reimbursements. There’s even a handy OSU acronym chart to navigate all those letters that get thrown around on campus.

For students, the portal will allow for easy access to on-line bill paying, registering for classes, using financial aid, locating campus resources and accessing Blackboard and ONID email.

myOSU does not replace Blackboard, which is still the site for academic and collaborative work performed by classes or clubs. The myOSU portal is focused more on administrative work and information related to the university.
