Classroom Technology Services supports General Purpose classrooms with a suite of computing and audio/video technologies necessary for modern instruction.
These enhanced classrooms are equipped with dual-booting iMac computers which offer the instructor the choice of operating in either Mac OS or Windows, as well as connectors for plugging in your own computing device. Projectors, document cameras, and Blu-ray players are available in all enhanced classrooms. Some rooms are equipped with lecture capture, videoconferencing, or enhanced production capabilities. Consult the list below for further details as to the features found in each classroom. All enhanced classrooms also have a Help Phone to connect you directly to a support person.
All computers in classrooms are equipped with a standard suite of software. If the software you require is not available on the computer in your classroom, please refer to apps.oregonstate.edu to see if the software can be accessed online. If not, you can submit a software installation request.
You can review the availability of General Purpose classrooms through the Registrar's Room Viewer. For departmental classrooms, please contact the department's IT support.
Help Phone/Presentation Support
Presentation Support answers the Help Phones found in General Purpose enhanced classrooms. Classrooms equipped with a Help Phone connect directly to Presentation Support.
