Please NOTE: All current OSU employees and students are eligible for 5 FREE installs of Office Pro Plus through Office 365.
To get Office for free, visit the Office 365 page.
The Home Use program detailed below is still available, but for most students and employees Office 365 is the best option.
The Home Use Program for Microsoft Office allows faculty, staff, and graduate research / teaching assistants who are on paid assistantships to license and install Microsoft Office products on ONE (1) personally owned computer.
Unlike the old Work at Home program, the Home Use Program does not stipulate that usage must be 100% work-related and a University index is no longer necessary to purchase the software.
Only regular Oregon State University employees or paid Graduate Research / Teaching Assistants are eligible. Temporary employees, undergraduates and graduate students paid as student workers are not eligible.
Microsoft has stopped distributing Microsoft Office 2003, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011 and 2013.
