Administrative Data Systems Training

Completion of a FERPA Tutorial is required for any access and/or training on any of the OSU student data systems. There are two versions of the training that serve two different purposes:

• The Faculty/Staff Training is for those who require access to student records through the Banner, My Degrees, Nolij, and Data Warehouse systems.
• The GRA, GTA & Student Employee Training is for Student Employees such as GTAs, TAs, and student office staff.

These trainings are accessible through the Resources tab on the MyOregonState employee dashboard. See the FERPA tutorial page for more information on how to access the tutorials

Departmental and core office staff are supported by designated in-office trainers and online video tutorials offered through the Office of the Registrar. Enterprise Computing Services (ECS) offers support for SIS users through the following courses:

• The SIS Banner Basics navigation course is required for access to Banner SIS, and access indicated on the Request for Access Form is granted with completion of the FERPA Tutorial.
