Exchange Issues

Colleagues,

We are making progress on the Exchange email issues that were caused by the hardware failure last weekend.

* Outlook email clients are now working normally, if you used OWA (exmail.oregonstate.edu) to mitigate previous issues, you can now return to using Outlook as normal. * Users can once again add email to mobile devices. * Public folders are still not functioning. Users attempting to connect to public folders will receive an error message. Colleagues,

Some employees are still experiencing performance issues while accessing Exchange email.

* We continue to work with Microsoft on the issues affecting email. * We are applying a potential fix to the public folders issue. * We will provide another update on these issues tomorrow morning. To reiterate, these issues are related to hardware failure that occurred over the weekend and our continued efforts to restore public folders. If you are experiencing slowness or other connection issues, you can:

* Use the web app (OWA): https://exmail.oregonstate.edu/ * Us an existing/previously connected phone app
