Enroll in the OSU IT Outages Alert notification system
Enroll in the OSU IT Outages Alert notification system
OSU Information Services has designed a system to leverage the OSU Rave-based Emergency Notification System to notify IT professionals and other interested parties of large-scale service-impacting IT outages. Examples of the use of this system include:
Campus-wide wired/wifi network outage
Banner outage
Canvas outage
Central email (Exchange/Google) outage
Authentication (Active Directory/LDAP) outage
Other types of outages that impact multiple areas of the OSU campus
PRE-REQUISITE: Users must
visit the OSU Alert Portal
and add in their email addresses/cell phone numbers to be used as notification avenues.
By submitting this form you are enrolling into the OSU's IT Outages Alert Notification System. Alerts will be sent to email and text-messaging addresses/numbers as defined in your Rave profile. Voice phone calls will not be made for IT outages.
