Students may access multimedia equipment for use in academic instruction, research & university-related events only.
SMS does not support 'personal' projects. If you have questions regarding this policy, please call us at 541-737-2840.
SMS will strive to meet each student's needs, but your request for reserved equipment may be denied during peak times of the term.

SMS operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Same-day equipment requests can and should be made at the SMS front desk.

However, we recognize that there are special cases where equipment is needed for specific times and dates.
Example: an OSU-sponsored student organization event with a specific time and date.

Professional media consultants are available to provide instruction and training when picking up equipment. We are not able to offer delivery or on-site support for equipment.

Standard checkout times are 48 hours for Undergrad students, and 72 hours for Grad students.
If your project requires you to have the equipment for longer than the standard time, please let us know in the notes section of this request form.
